Notes
| July 2, 2009 - 7 PM Israel Time | | Final Arrivals |
Shalom!
The last members of Seneca Lake Camp arrived safely in Israel. This means that all the participants are here, safely and with their luggage.
Now that the group has gathered they have departed for Jerusalem and their hotel for dinner. Their program will begin in the morning with a ride on the Time Elevator as an introduction to the 3000 years of history of Jerusalem that they will experience.
Please visit the site from time to time to see pictures as the group tours the country, read important updates and send a message to the participants. This way you can join in the trip “virtually”, until you can come to Israel and experience it for yourself.
Shalom

| July 2, 2009 - 6PM | | Next arrivals |
Shalom
Our friends from Milwaukee and Camp Chi arrived. I greeted each participant with a big “welcome home” when they got here. They are now getting to know Reut, the guide, Noam their escort/medic and driver, who also happens to be named Noam.
A bit later, Zoey arrived on her flight from Bangkok safely and is now with the group.
We are now waiting for the last few people who should be getting here very soon!
Shalom

| July 1, 2009 | | On the way! |
Shalom all,
Well it's been a long day of airline excitement but I am happy to report that they are all safely on their way to Israel.
The Seneca Lake group got a nice tour of our NY area airports, but ultimately made it to JFK for their departure to Tel Aviv. Jordan and the teens are on their way and very excited to arrive.
I met Alex and Jenna at the airport without any issues. The Kingswood trio made it to me in Philly a bit latter
The Milwaukee and Chi teens arrived in Philly in a large pack just in time to meet up with everyone else and go through final security to board their flight to Tel Aviv.
The group is actually flying on the US Airways inaugural flight to Tel Aviv so there was a celebration at the airport. They had cakes and balloons and lots of staff around for the occasion.
Everyone came together we had just enough time to board the flight to Tel Aviv. I managed to get a very quick group shot and a few pictures before boarding – click on the “pictures” link on the right hand side of the page
They are on their way to Israel and very excited to be doing so. The Oranim staff in Israel is following the arrivals – everyone will be met, including Zoey Thompson who is flying in from Singapore. Arrival notices will be posted after each arrival and pictures from Israel some time later.
Shalom!
