Notes
| July 03, 2009 | | Shabbat in Jerusalem | It is already the second Shabbat and the kids spend it in Jerusalem. The toured today the surrounding hills of Jerusalem and saw the Jerusalemites prepare for the Shabbat.
After Shabbat dinner they all went to the Great Synagogue and are back in the hotel, getting ready for a good night sleep after long week of excitements.
I just spoke with Natalie, the tour educator, and they all seem to be eager to continue the trip and enjoy a Shabbat in Jerusalem.

The lovely group arrived at Ben Gurion Airport safely. I was there to welcome each one with a big “Welcome Home”. Everyone was excited to be in Israel and eager to begin their program, if a bit tired from the journey. They are on their way to to plant a tree, marking the start of their tour.
Please visit the site from time to time as we post messages and pictures from the group – this way you can join in “virtually” until you come to Israel too.

| June 24, 2009 | | We made it to Newarlk Airport! |
Hi
After a very early morning and a long bus ride from Pittsburgh, the group made it safely to Newark for their flight to Israel. Everyone got through El Al security and checked in luggage painlessly. They had enough time to grab a quick lunch from the airport's finest options before rounding up to go through security and board the plane. The staff has their systems down to a science as no teen walks away from the group without informing one of them, so they should be all set for their travels around Israel!
The group is very excited to arrive and begin their journey and will be in Israel soon
I got some pictures, which have been placed in the photos department.
Shalom
